MPD investigating after 2-vehicle crash Saturday

MONTGOMERY, AL (WSFA) -

Police are investigating a two-vehicle crash that occurred on Saturday in Montgomery.

Montgomery police say around 9:20 p.m. a 1999 Acura Integra traveling east on Atlanta Highway collided with a 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee turning onto Bell Road, west-bound from Atlanta Highway.

The driver of the Acura, an adult male, was treated at the scene for non-life threatening injuries. His passenger, a juvenile female, was transported to a local hospital and then to Children's Hospital in Birmingham for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.

The driver of the Jeep, an adult female, and her passenger, a juvenile female were both transported to a local hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.

The circumstances surrounding the crash remain under investigation and no further details are being released.
