PEARL RIVER COUNTY, MS (WLOX) -

The search is on for two carjacking suspects. Pearl River County investigators told WLOX News the incident actually started in Gulfport Sunday night.

Authorities are looking for Gabrielle McTaggart, 25, of the Kiln, and Jacob McTaggart, 40, of Pass Christian.

The victim, who lives in Pearl River County, told investigators Gabrielle contacted him on Facebook asking for help with a broken down vehicle. The victim picked the pair up at Westside Park on 42nd Ave in Gulfport, and took them to his house to get a tire. Instead of driving back to the park in Gulfport, the victim decided to drop the couple off at a gas station. That when he said Jacob McTaggart pulled a knife on him, cut his abdomen, and stole his car.

Authorities said the pair are driving a black 2007 Mitsubishi Endeavor with a disabled car tag "DB28334."

The victim's cut was not life threatening and he refused medical treatment.
