Etowah County man accused of stealing four wheeler

BIRMINGHAM, AL (WBRC) -

The Etowah County Sheriff's Office says they have charged a man in connection to the theft of a four wheeler.

19-year-old David Austin Chaviers, of Altoona, faces one count of 1st degree theft of property and one count of 3rd degree burglary for allegedly taking a 2004 Kawasaki Prairie Twin V four wheeler from a resident on Highway 132 in Altoona. Deputies have returned the four wheeler to the rightful owner.

Chaviers was booked into the Etowah County Detention Center and was released on $7,500 bond.
