Troopers investigate fatal Colbert Co. wreck

COLBERT COUNTY, AL (WAFF) -

Alabama State Troopers are investigating a two-vehicle wreck that claimed two lives in Colbert County.

Investigators said the wreck happened around 3:30 p.m. Saturday, May 3, near the intersection of U.S. 72 and Alabama 247.

According to troopers, K. Lemone Yielding, 83, and Lerena Yielding, 70, both of Tuscumbia, were killed when the vehicle they were in collided with another vehicle.

No other information has been released at this time. Authorities continue to investigate.
