Troopers: Car wrecks in Limestone Creek

State troopers said a car went off Highway 72 Monday morning. State troopers said a car went off Highway 72 Monday morning.
LIMESTONE COUNTY, AL (WAFF) -

State troopers responded to a crash on Highway 72 in Limestone Creek.

Troopers confirmed that a car went off the road, hit some power lines and ended up in the creek with the power lines on top of it. Troopers said they had to wait until the power lines were removed to get the driver out of the car.

HEMSI said the man had some sort of medical condition and that he's on the way to the hospital.

Several viewers who live in the area have reported that their power was out.
