HARRISON COUNTY, MS (WLOX) -

Angela Lynn Williams's best friend describes her as beautiful on the inside and out, fun to be around, a loving daughter and sister who enjoyed cooking. Williams moved to Pass Christian with her boyfriend in February of 1995, but remained in touch with her best friend.

"She always kept in contact with her by writing her letters, calling her. It was very unlike her to just disappear like she did," Harrison County Lieutenant Coley Judy said.

According to Judy, Williams worked at the Copa Casino as a waitress. On July 10, 1995, Williams left around 8am after talking to her supervisor.

"She went home that day saying she had a sore throat and she would go to the doctor and she never did come back into work," Judy said.

That is the last time Williams was ever seen. Although it was not until two months later Williams was reported missing by her dad and step mother. The couple lived in Arkansas and told detectives they could not get in touch with their daughter.

Deputies went to Williams's home and talked to her boyfriend.

"He stated on July 10 she left a note saying that she was moving back to Florida and she was supposed to come back and get her belongings," Judy said.

Nearly 19 years later, Williams has never come back for her personal belongings, car or even her last paycheck.

Investigator Judy is not giving up on finding Williams.

"These cases here will always be on our mind; that's why we keep these cases going like we do," Judy said. "Hopefully somebody will notice something that was back then that they didn't remember and they can contact us and we can go from there."

If you have any information about Williams, you are asked to call the Harrison County Sheriff's Department at (228) 896-0678.
