JACKSON, MS (Mississippi News Now) -

Things are gradually returning to normal across the Jackson metro area, but some places are still far from okay.

An apparent Tornado that went through Rankin County has left a string of damage, particularly through Pearl and Brandon.

The Bob Boyte Honda Dealership in Brandon sustained severe damage. No one was injured, but the building is in pretty bad shape. Cars were also damaged. Brandon also damage in other areas. A complete list of streets is on the City of Brandon website.

There's also a string of damage through parts of Pearl. This damage came around 6 p.m. news time when Jackson was also under a tornado warning.

"The storm passed through the Highlands mobile home park, damaging homes and injuring several others. AMR spokesperson Jim Pollard said they transported three people with non life-threatening injuries.

Pearl Police Detective Jake Windham said approximately 25 mobile homes were damaged or destroyed.

Despite the widespread damage, he said there were no fatalities from the apparent tornado and everyone in the trailer park is accounted for.

Authorities continued searching for anyone trapped in the piles of debris that littered homes along Glenburgh Drive and Hardwick Drive."

Further south, in Richland, an 18-wheeler accident that closed all lanes of Highway 49. It took almost two hours to clean up the accident and reopen the lanes.

One person was killed in a rollover accident in Richland. The weather may have been a factor in both accidents.

The storms have moved to east Mississippi and into Alabama, but 33 Mississippi counties remain under a Tornado Watch until 3 a.m.
