BILOXI, MS (WLOX) -

A man wanted in connection with a string of bank robberies, including the Hancock Bank robbery in Diamondhead, may have struck again.

Hancock County investigators have been contacted by police in Huntley, Illinois, which is about an hour north west of Chicago, after a man robbed a bank there on Friday. Police in Huntley say the man went into the bank gave the teller a note, and then took off with the note and cash. That's the same way the Hancock Bank was robbed in Diamondhead just two weeks ago.

The FBI also believes the suspect robbed two other banks in Illinois and one in Indiana before making his way to South Mississippi. Luckily, no one has been hurt in any of the robberies, and the man has never showed a weapon.

Investigators believe the suspect is driving an older model silver Honda Accord with a stolen Illinois license plate. He's about 6 feet tall and believed to be in his late 20s.

If you have any information on this man you are asked to call crime stoppers at 1-877-787-5898.
