BILOXI, MS (WLOX) - A section of Interstate 110 will be closed to all traffic for about three hours on Sunday morning. Biloxi Public Affairs Manager Vincent Creel said the part of the interstate south of Division Street will be closed between 7 a.m. and 10 a.m.
Creel said the road is being shut down so crews from Mississippi Power can move a power pole for construction of MGM Park at Beau Rivage. Officials from Mississippi Power said the power pole that services the Four Points Hotel needs to be relocated.
According to Creel, because the southern end of Caillavet Street is also closed, all traffic will be diverted to Hopkins Boulevard.
