Police search for suspects in two unrelated shootings

Someone shot a man in the leg around midnight in the area of Mountain Terrace Street and Durham Avenue. Someone shot a man in the leg around midnight in the area of Mountain Terrace Street and Durham Avenue.

(WMC) – Memphis police are searching for suspects in two unrelated shootings that sent two victims to the hospital.

Investigators say someone shot a man in the chest a little before 10 p.m. Monday in the 3200 block of Cosmic Circle.

The victim is at Regional One Health with life-threatening injuries.

Police are also searching for a suspect in a second shooting.

Someone shot a man in the leg around midnight in the area of Mountain Terrace Street and Durham Avenue.

The victim in this shooting is expected to survive, but the shooter got away.

    At 7:30 Wednesday morning, Ocean Springs city workers stepped up to the city hall flag pole. They hooked Mississippi's state flag underneath the American flag, and they raised both flags over the city hall grounds. And just like that, five days of debate over whether the state flag should fly in Ocean Springs temporarily came to an end.
