Bad crash triggers Berry Hill power outage

Two women were hospitalized after crashing into a power pole early Sunday morning.

The impact of the collision was so severe that the power pole snapped in half.

According to the NES, more than 650 homes in Berry Hill lost power as a result of the crash.

Crews will have to replace the pole in order to restore electricity to the area.

Officials expect the repair operation to last most of the day.
