BILOXI, MS (WLOX) - Spring breakers gathered at the Four Points Sheraton in Biloxi for a "pop-up party" Saturday afternoon. Black Beach promoters invited folks to enjoy music, food and drinks, all while sitting poolside and soaking up some sun.
Hotel General Manager Kenny Glavan said when he was presented the idea of the day party he thought it would be great to conjoin it with a crawfish party already scheduled. Glavan said he wasn't upset by the unannounced party at his hotel, and thought it would be another great way to bring the Coast and spring breakers even closer.
"You know, I never experienced it before, so I had to get tuned in. And once I started to get information with the people that were organizing it, it just started to flow better, and I think everybody is comfortable with the experience they're going to have," Glavan said. "I just think it's going to be a fantastic weekend, and I think it's a great way to kick off mid-April and the summer ahead of us."
Because Glavan expected a big crowd, extra staff was called in to make sure all guests were taken care of and there were no parking problems.
