I-26 westbound traffic near downtown Charleston moving following accident

CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - Westbound traffic on I-26 near downtown Charleston is moving again following an accident that shut down two lanes.

Officials with the Charleston Police Department say the accident was in the area of the Rutledge Avenue exit.

Police say there were no injuries involved in the incident.

Earlier this afternoon another accident nearby, in the area of Exit 219B to Morrison Drive, stalled traffic and shut down one lane.
