Biloxi police searching for suspected identity thief

BILOXI, MS (WLOX) -

Officials with the Biloxi Police Department are asking for your help to identify an identity theft suspect.

Lt. Chris DeBack said the woman they are searching for is accused of stealing a Waveland woman's identification on January 15. Officials said the woman then used the stolen identity to pass more than $8,000 worth of forged checks at a Biloxi bank.

If you can identify this woman you are asked to call the Biloxi Police Department at 228-392-0641.
