Man arrested after allegedly breaking into apartment, attacking woman

NASHVILLE, TN (WSMV) -

Officials say a woman was attacked by a man who broke into her apartment on Monday night.

Police say Dominique Van-Noy admitted to climbing up a balcony at the Shadowbluff Apartments and kicking in the woman's balcony door.

She said Van-Noy hid behind her door and attacked her when she came home.

Police say a neighbor heard the woman scream and banged on her door, scaring the suspect away, and he climbed back down the balcony.

Police caught up with Van-Noy a short time later.
