D'Iberville Civic Center opening as cold weather shelter

D'IBERVILLE, MS (WLOX) -

The calendar may say spring, but it won't feel that way tonight. Parts of South Mississippi will see lows in the upper 30s Tuesday night with patchy inland frost.

That means cold weather shelters will be opening for those who need a place to stay out of the cold. In Harrison County, the D'iberville Civic Center Multi Purpose Building (10395 Auto Mall Parkway) will open at 4:30pm and close at 7am Wednesday.

The Coast Transit Authority will provide service for those in need on the fixed bus routes to the shelter.
