Masked gunmen hit Gallatin Pike businesses

NASHVILLE, TN (WSMV) -

Two masked gunmen who robbed a Sonic restaurant over the weekend could also be behind several other crimes in the area, police said Monday.

Metro investigators shared surveillance images from the Sonic on Gallatin Pike, which was robbed just after midnight on Sunday.

One suspect may be in his late teens or early 20s, while the other suspect appears to be older, in his 30s. The younger suspect wore a black hooded sweatshirt that read "Stratford Spartans," police said.

Investigators suspect the pair may also have robbed the Dickerson Pike Piggly Wiggly on November 27, followed by an attempted robbery of Wendy's on Gallatin Pike on December 23.

More recently, the men may have held up Inglewood Title Loans and AutoZone, both on Gallatin Pike.

Anyone with information can call Crime Stoppers at 74-CRIME.

If you take a stroll on the beach, chances are you might need to watch your step and it isn't because of the sea shells. A strong onshore wind has been pushing large jellyfish to the shore. These bigger jellyfish are called cannon ball jellyfish. Luckily, these jellyfish do not sting, but we may see more stinging jellys sooner than usual.
