Saintsations to hold tryouts April 27th

METAIRIE, LA (AP) -

The New Orleans Saints will hold preliminary auditions for the Saintsations dance and cheer squad on April 27. The tryouts will take begin at 9 a.m. at the NFL team's practice facility on Airline Drive in Metairie. Team officials say candidates must be at least 18 years old.

The audition is a three-step process starting with the preliminaries. All auditions are closed to the public but the preliminaries will be streamed live on www.NewOrleansSaints.com. Participants making the first-round cut will advance to a professional interview. The final dance/speaking audition will be held April 29 and the team will be announced on April 30.

    In an effort to combat wild hog populations, Mississippi's Commission on Wildlife, Fisheries, and Parks has approved a rule change that will allow trapping of wild hogs on some wildlife management areas.
