D'IBERVILLE, MS (WLOX) -

Authorities in D'Iberville are asking for your help to identify a man and woman who are accused of cashing forged checks at local banks.

D'Iberville Police Chief Wayne Payne said a white male and black female are wanted for uttering forged checks linked to a business bank account at banks in D'Iberville, Biloxi and Vancleave.

Officials said both suspects cashed checks at separate Hancock Bank branches on March 31, 2014. Payne said the checks were drawn on a D'Iberville business's account. Police said the suspects were able to obtain a large amount of cash using the false checks.

If you have any information about the suspects or the crime you are asked to contact D'Iberville police at 228-396-4252.
