Pass Christian is surviving and growing. That according to Pass Christian's Mayor Chipper McDermott. His recent progress report where he shared his community's come back story almost nine years after Katrina was upbeat and promising.
The progress the Mayor points to is the new harbor, which he says will reach a "substantial completion" by the middle of May. Plus, two new businesses are opening in downtown, that after two other businesses recently opened on Davis Avenue. The Mayor credits the generosisty of Americans and the tenacity of Pass Christian residents for not allowing the Pass to die out afte Katrina.
We too are glad that Pass Christian is not only surviving, but growing as well.
