JACKSON COUNTY, MS (WLOX) -

A Mobile, Alabama couple accused of shoplifting from several eye clinics in Jackson County was arrested Monday around noon.

Orlando Bailey, 26, and Portia Teague, 33, are each charged with grand larceny. They're accused of entering several eye clinics in the Ocean Springs/St. Martin area, and stealing Ray Ban sunglasses and frames valued at more than $900.

Ocean Springs Police put out a description of the suspects' vehicle, and within an hour they were stopped on Washington Avenue.

Bailey and Teague were being held at the Jackson County Adult Detention Center, pending an initial appearance in Jackson County court. Additional charges are pending from the Ocean Springs Police Department.

If convicted of grand larceny, each could face up to 10 years in prison and a $10,000 fine.
