JMR Graphics Comments on an Article Discussing Arizona School Districts Use of Advertisements on Buses

Nationwide truck wraps manufacturer JMR Graphics responds on an article discussing how Arizona Valley schools are trying to raise funds by placing advertisements on their school buses

BOHEMIA, NY / myprgenie.com / ACCESSWIRE / April 7, 2014 / JMR Graphics, a nationwide car wraps manufacturer, comments on an article discussing how the Mesa Public School District is teaming up with Alpha Media to advertise on school buses.

According to a March 28th article from WAFB titled “More Valley school districts putting ads on buses,” the Mesa Public School District of Arizona has decided to wrap their buses in advertisements in order to raise funds for the district. The school district receives a 62% portion of revenues from the advertisements or $100,000 after the first year.

Michael Beauchamp, Alpha Media spokesperson, said, “The businesses we do go after and typically see in all of our districts, dentists, credit unions, banks, colleges, and realtors.” Alpha Media does not advertise anything related to alcohol, cigarettes, churches, or politics. Beauchamp also stated, “They target those outside the bus. Most of our advertisers are there to advertise to pedestrians and other drivers, rather than the students on board.”

TJ Panell, a representative from nationwide vehicle wraps manufacturer JMR Graphics, says, “Vehicle wraps has a great return on investment. This is why it is becoming more and more popular for private vehicles and school buses to rent out their space to companies looking to advertise. It benefits both the vehicle owner and the brand.”
