Gulfport police searching for shooting suspects

GULFPORT, MS (WLOX) -

Officials with the Gulfport Police Department tell WLOX News officers are searching for two vehicles that could be involved in a shooting.

Sergeant Damon McDaniel said the incident happened in the area of 18th Avenue, and officers are on the scene trying to gather information. Officials believe two vehicles were exchanging fire with each other. No injuries have been reported.

    One man sat down at a high limits machine in the Hard Rock Casino in Biloxi Wednesday morning and walked away about $1.3 million richer. It's the highest jackpot in South Mississippi in almost a decade.
