A tornado watch is in effect for the following 27 counties until 3 a.m.: Adams, Attala, Choctaw, Copiah, Hinds, Holmes, Leake, Madison, Rankin Scott, Simpson, Yazoo, Neshoba, Winston, Carroll, Grenada, Montgomery, Clay Lowndes, Oktibbeha, Webster, Claiborne, Franklin, Lawrence, Lincoln, Jefferson and Warren.

This weekend will be sunny, cooler and breezy, but very pleasant with highs near 70 and lows in the 40s and 50s.
