Ridgeland PD looking for vehicle theft suspect

RIDGELAND, MS (Mississippi News Now) -

Ridgeland Police would like your help in locating Tarence Earl Wade, who is wanted in connection with a March 16 motor vehicle theft. Several vehicles were burglarized and a Jeep Cherokee stolen from a local Ridgeland restaurant.

The 28-year-old Wade is also under investigation for auto burglary and receiving stolen property.

The stolen Jeep was later recovered off Hanging Moss Drive in Jackson. Wade was most recently seen in the area of Northside Drive and I-55, frequenting extended stay hotels along Frontage Road.

Wade also has misdemeanor arrest warrants from the City of Madison and is under investigation by several local jurisdictions. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Ridgeland Police Department. Questions should be directed to Lt. John R.     Flames shot out of a Coast Guard vessel docked at the Gulfport Small Craft Harbor Wednesday morning before sunrise. Gulfport fire trucks rushed to the harbor and quickly poured water on the burning boat.
