Bomb threat evacuates Chesterfield Wal-Mart

CHESTERFIELD, VA (WWBT) -

A Wal-Mart had to be evacuated after a bomb threat was called in Thursday night, according to Chesterfield Police.

The call came into the store in the 12000 block of Iron Bridge Road around 10 p.m. When officer arrived on scene, the managers made the decision to evacuate the store.

Authorities did a visual check, and discovered there was no bomb. No one was hurt.

The store closes at 11 p.m.
