JACKSON, MS (Mississippi News Now) -

Firefighters have fully contained a wildfire on the Bienville National Forest in Smith County. Officials with the U.S. Forest Service say the wildfire burned an area about 700 acres in size.

It began Tuesday morning at multiple locations. Officials say that some hot spots still remain.

We are told that no structures were damaged and there were no injuries.

"At this point, we don't know how it started," said District Ranger Michael Esters.  "We are going to look in to how it started."

Officials predict that tonight's rain will likely put the fire out completely.
