TOLEDO, OH (Toledo News Now) -

Clean-up continues after a business fire in east Toledo Wednesday afternoon.

Several crews responded to a fire at Fiske Brothers Refining Company, located in the 1500 block of Oakdale Avenue, which makes a number of lubrication products from oil. This is not the first fire at this facility.

At least eight fire trucks and one aerial unit assisted after a blaze started on the second floor during the manufacturing process.

"They were clearing out one of the vats. They did have some residue that flashed, causing a minor flash fire. It did cause some minor damage to the area it was contained in," explained Lt. Matthew Hertzfeld with Toledo Fire and Rescue.

The building was evacuated and Toledo police closed neighboring streets so crews could do their job. No one was injured.

"The business will continue to operate. Although operations in this particular area will cease until they can get it repaired and cleaned up, see what the extent of the damage was," said Hertzfeld.
