Long Beach named as Mississippi's top city

LONG BEACH, MS (WLOX) -

Long Beach has been named as the most desirable place to live in Mississippi by the real estate blog Movoto. The website reviews communities around the country.

Long Beach was ranked number one on the list based on total amenities, quality of life, crime rate, tax rates, unemployment, commute and weather.

The site also says Long Beach has one of the lowest student to teacher ratios in Mississippi.

The city of Biloxi also made the list and was ranked as the eighth most desirable place to live in the state.
