KSLA News 12 Editorial: Mar. 12 - Grab A Cell and Tell

James Smith James Smith

Empowering all of us to be active in defeating the criminals in our communities is at the heart of a new, updated campaign launched by Crime Stoppers.

It's called, "Grab a Cell and Tell." You get the idea. It urges every citizen to report crimes and criminals to the police. Today, just about everyone has a cell phone. We've never been in a better position to report crime than we are today. We just have to do it.

And there is a reward involved. If you leave a tip that leads to an arrest you could get up to $1,000. The Crime Stoppers program works if you grab a cell and tell.

I'm James Smith.
