ABI agent critically hurt in motorcycle crash

COLBERT COUNTY, AL (WAFF) -

An Alabama Bureau of Investigation agent isin critical condition following a motorcycle wreck in Colbert County.

It happened around 2:30 p.m. Sunday inCherokee on North Pike, in an area known as Drizzle Curve.

Lieutenant Brian Faulkner's motorcycle leftthe roadway and struck a utility pole. He was airlifted to Huntsville Hospital.

Lt. Faulkner was in the NeurosurgicalIntensive Care Unit at last check.

    A South Mississippi man who's spent the last year running from the law was arrested Friday in Veracruz, Mexico. Carl Hodge Jr. of Nicholson was deported the very next day and is now back in the United States.
