Layton, Utah, dentist, Kip J Jones, DDS is proud to be a sponsor of the annual “Gospel in Art” exhibition in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Kip J. Jones, DDS, a Layton, Utah dentist, is excited to provide sponsorship and support for the Gospel in Art Exhibition featuring Liz Lemon Swindle. This 5-day event, held April 2-6, 2014, at the Joseph Smith Building in Salt Lake City, Utah, is a free event that showcases Christ-centered artworks by faithful artists.

Because he is known as the “Missionary Go-To Guy,” Dr. Jones’ association with this uplifting LDS art exhibition is a natural partnership. His office was approached to be a sponsor of the event because of Dr. Jones’ unique dental service and missionary discounts for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints missionary community. Dr. Jones’ dental office specializes in providing dental services, wisdom teeth removal and oral hygiene care packages to young adults who are leaving for 18 to 24 months of volunteer service. Missionaries also get a free dental exam and teeth whitening upon their return home.

“We’re proud to be a part of this wonderful art exhibition,” says Kip J. Jones. “It’s a meaningful way for families and communities to come together to appreciate the talents of these artists. The inspirational message conveyed through the artwork is something that people of all ages will really treasure.”

Artists who have been selected to exhibit their art include featured artist Liz Lemon Swindle, as well as Emily Dyches Pugmire, Joseph Brickley, Del Parson, Val Chadwick Bagley and Randy Collier. All guests receive a free commemorative magazine that provides details on many of the art pieces at the exhibit, plus more information about each artist. Guests can also enter a drawing to win a signed giclee by Liz Lemon Swindle.

The art exhibition will be open to the public from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. (closed at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday). Jones encourages everyone to bring their family and friends to attend to enjoy the dozens of paintings and other artwork on display by these renowned artists.

About Kip J Jones:
Dr. Jones was born and raised in Utah and attended Utah State University and dental school at Virginia Commonwealth University, and received advanced education in General Dentistry residency at the Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, Colorado. During his time in Colorado, he trained exclusively with oral surgeons, prosthodontists, endodontists, orthodontists, periodontists, and pedodontists. He was awarded a medal of commendation from the Air Force for his exceptional work as a wisdom tooth removal specialist.
