MADISON COUNTY, MS (Mississippi News Now) -

Law Enforcement officers are preparing to extend their search for 2-year-old Myra Lewis into the night. Portable lights have been brought into the area, but still no official word on what they're planning next.

As of Friday morning, both ends of Mt. Pilgrim Road were blocked. Only residents were allowed in with proof of ID and are being told to stay on their property.

The media is being kept at a volunteer fire station, but our  reporter said a Ridgeland Police K-9 unit arrived at the checkpoint to help with the search.

Multiple agencies, including the FBI, Madison Deputies, the Madison Police Department are set up at a command center near the home.

From Skycopter, we have seen dozens and dozens of officials searching the property around the home. Officers appear to be using a grid approach.

Also from Skycopter, we have see other crews using heavy equipment; a compact track loader, to dig on parts of the property.

Myra was last seen on Saturday at 10 am at her home in Camden. She was last seen wearing a turquoise sweater with a bear on the front and khaki pants.

She's about 34 inches tall and weighs 27 pounds.

The Madison County Sheriff's Department says Myra's father was watching an infant child inside when Myra and several other kids went outside to play.

The Sheriff's department says they received a phone call about Myra missing around 4 on Saturday afternoon.

Since that time, 4 square miles around the house have been searched.

If you have any information on Myra's whereabouts, please call 855-642-5378.
