ALBANY, GA (WALB) -
The
investigation continues into an early morning fire that destroyed a Central
Albany Duplex.
Bobby Mason was
sleeping when the fire started in the duplex in the 1400 block of Mulberry
Drive.
He says an
alert neighbor woke him up and saved him.
The neighbor
had to be treated for burns on his hand and arm.
Mason is adding
up the damage.
"Water damage and smoke damage and stuff like
that. On this side it got totally
demolished," he said.
The American Red Cross is providing
housing for the two victims.
