PASS CHRISTIAN, MS (WLOX) -

Two South Mississippi teens are charged with felony grand larceny after police say they stole two ATVs.

Harrison County Sheriff Melvin Brisolara said Dakota Peter Bates, 18, of Pass Christian, and Devin Lee Bates, 18, of Waveland, were arrested Monday and charged with stealing the ATVs from Brandon's ATV Service in Pass Christian on January 14, 2014.

Brisolara said investigators located the vehicles in the woods near the intersection of Hightower Road and McDonald Road in Pass Christian. Authorities said they later discovered Dakota and Devin Bates had stolen the vehicles and stashed them in the woods.

Both teens have been released from the Harrison County Adult Detention Center after each posted $100,000 bonds.
