NASHVILLE, TN (WSMV) -

The search continues for a man connected to a Franklin home invasion Wednesday morning that led to a police chase into south Nashville.

The home invasion happened around 10 a.m. on Grigsby Road in The Highlands at Ladd Park subdivision.

Police say a man was getting out of the shower when he was surprised by a suspect who held him at gunpoint as other people tied him up.

The suspects allegedly stole guns, a television and other items before leaving the home.

A Williamson County detective saw a white van matching the description of the suspects' on northbound Interstate 65, and the driver allegedly led police on a chase into south Nashville.

The chase ended when the van crashed into a fence outside Prestige Pointe Apartments at the intersection of Eisenhower Drive and Paragon Mills Road.

Four people got out of the van and scattered and were later arrested by police. The search continues for a fifth suspect.

Police say items taken during the home invasion were found in the van.

Detectives say the victim and the suspects did not know one another but the home is believed to have been targeted.

Maurice Chapman, 26; Emily Faulkner, 20; Mario Flores, 26; and Keyona Newell, 29, have been charged with aggravated robbery.

They are all being held on a $250,000 bond and are due in court on March 13.

A description of the fifth suspect in the case hasn't been released, but police said they have enough information to make an arrest soon.
