UPDATES: Dal Cannady's Red Cross walk

SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) -

Dal Cannady's 97-mile walk is well underway.

Day 7: Dal's walk finished Tuesday afternoon in Statesboro. Read the story here

Day 1: Dal started from the Claxton-Evans County Chamber of Commerce office at the corner of U.S. 301 and Ga. 280 at 9 a.m. Read the full story from the first day of the walk.

The walk was preceded by a fund-raiser on Tuesday night at Harry's Barbeque in Claxton.

He will complete his walk at Vandy's at the Statesboro Mall on March 4. Dal will walk 97 miles across rural Georgia in support of the American Red Cross.

Posters are up across Southeast Georgia and some have collection buckets with them. Drop a donation in the bucket, donate online, or meet us at one of the eight fund-raisers along the walking route or on the side of the road.
