Ole Miss football stars being sued for $2 million after frat brawl

OXFORD, MS (Mississippi News Now) -

Two Ole Miss football stars are being sued for two-million dollars for their alleged involvement in a fight at a fraternity party last year.

Denzel and Robert Nkemdiche, along with 5 other Ole Miss football players, are being sued for an alleged fight at the Kappa Alpha fraternity house in Oxford last year.

A student who was involved in the fight was reportedly taken to the hospital by ambulance. The Nkemdiche brothers are being sued for battery, negligence and intentional infliction of emotional distress.

Ole Miss officials say they investigated the incident at the time and found no wrong doing by the football players.

The charges came a day after Denzel and a another teammate, Serderius Bryant, were suspended for weekend arrests. Nkemdiche was cited for disorderly conduct and disturbing the peace.
