TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

A house fire in Catalina Saturday morning ended with one person suffering minor injuries.

Golder Ranch Fire District responded to the house fire on the 16000 block of N Vernon at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, according to a press release from Battalion Chief William Seeley.

When they arrived, they saw smoke coming from a bedroom in the home.

The fire was extinguished and one person in the house suffered minor injuries but did not need to be taken to the hospital.

There was fire damage to the bedroom and smoke damage in other areas of the house.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation, but authorities believe that it was caused by an electrical issue.
