Man dies from injuries related to Jan. 28 train wreck

TUSCALOOSA COUNTY, AL (WBRC) -

A third man has died from injuries sustained when a pickup truck slid on ice into the path of a train in Tuscaloosa County on Jan. 28.

David McKenzie, 58, of Foley died at DCH on Friday, Feb. 7, according state troopers. Two other people, 57-year-old Charles Kelly Meiklejohn of Gulf Shores and 39-year-old Nahum Terrance Mickles of Foley, were also killed in the wreck.

Tuscaloosa County leads the state in snow related fatalities from the January 28 snow storm with three deaths. Ten people died in Alabama in weather-related wrecks during that storm.
