Police: Torch used to cut open safe at car dealership

PASCAGOULA, MS (WLOX) -

Someone went through a lot of work to get away with some cash in Pascagoula.

On January 25, Pascagoula Police say someone broke into Crown Dodge by prying the aluminum siding away from the building. But that's not all. Investigators say a torch was used inside the building to cut open a safe.

After ransacking the shop, the thief got away with cash from the safe and a silver "Super Bowl style" ring that has a Dodge Ram symbol on the face of it.

If you have any information on this case, you're asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-877-787-5898.
