Five Pascagoula Panthers ink letters of intent

PASCAGOULA, MS (WLOX) - Pascagoula captured the 2013 Region 4-5A championship and five key members of the Panthers team inked national letters of intent today.

Pascagoula wide receiver Matthew Eaton selected Temple over Arkansas State and Appalachian State.  Eaton at 6-4, 185 pounds, has good size and leaping ability.

WLOX Defensive Player of the Year Caleb Caston as expected, inked a scholarship with Arkansas State.  The 6-2, 205 pound senior had a nose for the football but during the 2013 season coach Lewis Sims said opponents ran the ball away from Caston's side.

6-0, 305 pound offensive tackle Keith Crawford will take his physical talents to Delta State.

Another Panthers offensive lineman, Deontre McKinnis, signed with Bethel University.  McKinnis is a 5-11 and tips the scales at 298 pounds.

Pascagoula quarterback Andrew Dunn signed with East Central Community College.  He stands 6-4 and weighs 208 pounds.  He's a pocket passer.
