Two arrested in drug bust at west Jackson apartment

JACKSON, MS (Mississippi News Now) -

Jackson Police recovered marijuana and several thousand dollars during a drug bust in an apartment complex Saturday.

JPD Spokesperson Colendula Green said officers converged on the Park at Autumn Ridge Apartments on Lindbergh Drive.

The arrests were made shortly after 6 p.m. Saturday.

Inside apartment Q-5 police found more than $10 thousand in cash, more than 420 grams of marijuana and a handgun.

Sedric Armstrong and Albert Stewart were arrested at that apartment.

They were charged with possession of marijuana with intent to distribute within 15 hundred feet of a school.
