Body found on Smith College campus

NORTHAMPTON, MA (WSHM) -

City and state police are investigating the death of a man who was discovered on the campus of Smith College.

Mary Carey, spokeswoman for the Northwestern District Attorney's office, told CBS 3 that it was a white male in his 30s.

Carey said a passerby reported seeing the body.

Although the medical examiner will look at the body, Carey said it appears that no foul play is suspected.

She added that the male does not appear to have any connection or affiliation to Smith College.
