JACKSON, MS (Mississippi News Now) -

The adult entertainer convicted of culpable negligence manslaughter in the buttocks injection case has released a statement.

Natasha Stewart spoke to her god brother Paul Brown immediately after Friday night's verdict came down.

This is what Brown said she wanted released.

"She's very sorry about Karima Gordon's death and just wants to give her cares, concerns and condolences to the family regarding Gordon's death."

Authorities said Stewart referred Gordon to Tracey Garner, who administered the deadly injections.
