The State of the Union address, Amanda Knox's conviction and federal prosecutors seeking the death penalty against Dzhokhar Tsarnaev all made headlines this week. The State of the Union address, Amanda Knox's conviction and federal prosecutors seeking the death penalty against Dzhokhar Tsarnaev all made headlines this week.

(RNN) - President Barack Obama gave the State of the Union address on Tuesday. He mentioned making this year a "year of action," including using executive orders to help further his plans.

An Italian appeals court convicted former exchange student Amanda Knox and her ex-boyfriend on murder charges. They are accused of killing Meredith Kercher, Knox's roommate, in 2007. They were convicted in 2009 but acquitted on appeal in 2011. Knox currently lives in Seattle.

Attorney General Eric Holder announced federal prosecutors will seek the death penalty for Boston Marathon bombing suspect Dzhokhar Tsarnaev. Tsarnaev is charged with 30 federal counts. He has pleaded not guilty.

    The people who live near Palmer Creek and East Wortham Road in Harrison County are being told to boil water before using it. The warning comes after a deadly Saturday night crash that led to a chlorine cloud covering the area. Hazmat crews returned to Palmer Creek Sunday morning to make sure the utility system damaged in that crash is no longer leaking chlorine. Harrison County's sheriff says a stolen car crashed into the a utility box on E. Wortham Road right before 10:00 p.m.
