CORALVILLE, Iowa, Jan. 30, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- McCord Research, Inc., founded by the world-renown nutrition and skin care biochemist, Dr. Darlene McCord, is sending Dr. Nancy Ray to attend and judge posters at the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS) conference held in Chicago at the Hyatt Regency from February 13-17.

The AAAS conference will consist of over 150 sessions that will explore recent developments in science and technology.  Plenary lecturers include two Nobel Prize winners, Dr. Steven Chu from Stanford University and Dr. Phillip Sharp from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).  Other plenary speakers include Dr. Susan Linquist from MIT, Dr. John Rogers from the University of Illinois, and the well-known actor and professor of journalism at Stony Brook University, Alan Alda.  Family Science Days with interactive science exhibits for children will also be part of this conference to promote interest in science.
