The following is a list of school/business closures and delays because of the anticipated freezing weather conditions.  

It will be updated as soon as new information comes in.

Brookhaven Academy - closed Thursday

Brookhaven Public Schools - closed Thursday

Copiah Academy - closed Thursday

Copiah County Schools - closed Thursday

Franklin County School District- closed Thursday

Healing Touch Career College (Jackson) - closed Thursday

Jefferson Davis County Schools - closed Thursday

Lawrence County Schools - closed Thursday

Lincoln County Schools - West Lincoln, Enterprise, Bogue Chitto, and Loyd Star schools will remain CLOSED Thursday

McComb Schools - closed Thursday

Mississippi State University MASEP - all classes in Brandon, Canton, Belleville, Forrest, Magnolia, Meridian, Natchez, and Wesson until next week.

Polk Meats (Magee) - opening at 10 a.m.

Simpson Academy - closed Thursday

Simpson County Schools - closed Thursday

Smith County School District- closed on Thursday

South Pike School District - closed on Thursday

Southwest Mississippi Community College- closed on Thursday

Walthall County Schools - closed Thursday

    The state flag controversy isn't going away anytime soon in Biloxi. While everyone from the mayor to visitors from out of town took turns speaking out at Tuesday's city council meeting about why the flag should or shouldn't fly, nothing has changed.
