JACKSON COUNTY, MS (WLOX) -

All of the guns stolen in last week's rash of gun store robberies have been recovered and taken off the streets.

D'Iberville Police Chief Wayne Payne confirmed to WLOX News that the guns and a backpack were located in the front yard of a home off Old Fort Bayou Road in Jackson County.

Payne said Jackson County deputies secured the scene until D'Iberville police and ATF agents could make it to the area. The guns are now in possession of the ATF.

Payne said even though the guns have been recovered, the suspect still remains at large.
