BILOXI, MS (WLOX) - Traffic is still stopped in the northbound lanes of the I-110 bridge in Biloxi.
D'Iberville Police working to clear that accident told WLOX News they're starting to see ice accumulating on the bridge, specifically on the metal grate. Two accidents have taken place in the northbound lanes within 30 minutes of each other.
Officers are asking everyone to use caution and to slow down.
Harrison County Emergency Management Director Rupert Lacy said the dropping temperatures, especially in the northern part of the county, are starting to create driving hazards. He suggest that people stay off the roads as much as possible tonight.
If you must travel, remember to turn your lights on, slow down, and pay extra attention to the road.
